One planet. One code. And a Whole Mess of Robots. This out-of-this-world promotion dropped players into a dusty, sci-fi landscape where it was mission critical to train your way out. With their navigation systems jammed by an unknown signal coming from a towering Citadel, the only way out was to find and neutralize it with the Ancient Access Code. Without a working spacecraft, they had to commission a Recon-O-Bot (R.O.B.) to survey the landscape.

Directive 01

Commission an R.O.B.

Our players trained hard to unlock some slightly questionable R.O.B.s at the Plenty of Rivets Bot Shop. From Rusty Launchbox’s eco-jams to br00tal d00d’s gear-melting solos, each bot brought their own weird energy. Literally. Some ran out of it every five seconds. Others just chewed on wires. A few favorites: Gigaflop‑Along Cassidy, Tetanus, and Aeronautica Camshaft.

Tumbledry Cy‑Bex:

Domestic dynamo with a spin cycle and sass.

Aeronautica Camshaft:

Loud, chaotic, weirdly inspiring.

Cogwheel Bynox:

Shapeshifts, short-circuits, snacks on power cords.

Rusty Launchbox:

Desert drifter with a lunchbox full of groove.

br00tal d00d:

Headbanging metalhead with maximum mayhem settings.

Gigaflop-Along Cassidy:

Cyber-sheriff, line dancer, space outlaw.

Tetanus:

Possibly illegal. Definitely helpful.

Wired Knight:

Fights fear with formulas and a fistful of alloy.

Surphace Tension:

Mysterious. Brooding. Bakes a mean scone.

Directive 02

Explore. Decode. Escape.

As players met their training directives each week, new sectors of this junk-littered rock were unlocked. Their R.O.B.s were deployed to scour the desolate planet, occasionally running out of battery mid-sprint, to search targets for areas of interest. What were they trying to crack? A Citadel stuffed with secrets, and maybe a Star Wars Outlaws™ Master Key!

R.O.B.

“Great News I have found something of interest!”

Into the Junk Pile

Find the Ancient Access Code

Now here’s the fun part: players would then scan the target area using our custom hidden objects game to locate a missing piece of the Ancient Access Code. Four sectors, four code pieces. If they got them all, they were Citadel-bound, baby.

The Citadel is Open!

Signal Disabled. Loot Acquired.

At the end of the journey, those who braved all four sectors earned the right to input the full Ancient Access Code and open the Citadel. What was inside? The truth about the signal… and some pretty sweet rewards—2,000 Credits, an Exclusive Badge, the Codebreaker Certificate (for the fridge), and the most precious treasure of all—a Star Wars Outlaws™ Master Key.

A desolate planet, ridiculous robots, weekly sector drops—this was training in disguise. The kind of disguise that’s powered by rocket thrusters and sarcasm. And players? They couldn’t get enough.
